Most likely, if you are a devout fan of the Little Planet, you’ll know most (if not all) of these levels. However, I’ve made this list for those who are looking for something fun to waste their time on or to give them inspiration for their own level creation. Either way, here are my top five playable levels on the PS4 Little Big Planet 3 copy.
Top Five #5. Little Big Apple Time Updated!
Do you like apple pie? Do you enjoy searching through beautiful neighborhoods and forests for apples? Then this is the level for you! In Little Big Apple Time, help out Mrs. Cook with baking her apple pie by fetching her some apples. Though made in Little Big Planet 1, the level creator maximizes the game’s capabilities and presents us with a happy-go-lucky quest to make a tasty snack.
Top Five #4. LBP | The Lost Jungle 3
In this level you explore a perfectly developed jungle, filled with an amazing atmosphere. From the quiet diner at the end to the airborne parkouring, you’ll find yourself enticed to continue playing The Lost Jungle until every last point is collected.
Top Five #3. Don’t Linger in the Labyrinth!
The title says it all. In this action-packed maze game, you rush through a twisting labyrinth of sliding and adjusting blocks, collecting gems and ultimately trying to reach the glowing gem in the middle. But don’t loiter around, because those walls are closing in fast!
Top Five #2. Station Rescuer
Upon entering the level, you’re given the sight of a Sackboy in a spacesuit murdered by a rampaging monster. In some spur of rage, your Sackboy takes up the gun of the fallen hero and takes on the deed to liberate the others in the station from the grasp of the rioting unknown beasts. In this level, take advantage of Little Big Planet 3’s gadget creator and use a laser gun to push back relentless, brutal hordes of monsters. How epic is that?!
Top Five #1. Angry Whale Encounter (LBP2)
An all-time classic, Angry Whale Encounter will have you giggling for hours. By using Little Big Planet 2’s level creation to its full extent, Angry Whale Encounter was born. In this level, you are tossed into the hopeless situation of surviving the wrath of rampaging whales, ever since you killed a baby whale. Having spent over half of my entire gametime in Angry Whale Encounter and only won twice, I can say that it really is a challenging, yet laid-back, brutal, yet awe-striking, positively amazing experience. This level wins in any of my books, any day.
